Managed the staff and day to day business operations, as well as develop and maintain several mission critical applications for non-profit K-2 educational service agencies throughout the state. These applications included custom designed content management systems (CMS) for websites, email & communications, as well as a custom developed enterprise level event management system (EMS) for managing the multitude of state mandated professional development trainings for educators and administrators in cooperation with the Mississippi Department of Education (MDE). My responsibilities included the training of staffs to utilize the system, overseeing the security and protection of the personal identifiable information (PII) of over 40,000 educators, and managing the database of records containing thousands of registrations, attendance, evaluations, and assessments for continuing education credits (CEUs) for state educators. I developed workshops and trained educators to utilize third party content management systems to publish student content and school district websites. During my tenure I was exposed to a variety of third party systems which required me to quickly learn to instruct faculty including; WordPress, Drupal, Moodle and SchoolWires.I developed conference and training management systems for several school districts to manage in-house professional development. My systems are still used by several school districts and non-profit educational organizations for managing large conferences and exhibitors. As the demand for my services grew, I established a student internship program which allowed me to hire, train and mentor technology students to help manage the growing enterprise software.development and management of client information systems.

Contacted by a large industrial commercial laundry to innovate and incorporate technology into the business by developing custom applications to manage every stage of production to delivery for linen and dry cleaning for the newly established and growing casino/hospitality industry on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.My responsibilities included the establishment, management and training of a new IT department for managing computerized equipment, and newly developed automation systems. The large laundry staff consisted of over 150 fulltime employees and workers, all of whom had to be trained and certified to utilize the new systems. Over the course of my four year contract, I was directly responsible for leading and driving technology innovations for the growing, $8.5 million a year operation. My software and innovations allowed the laundry to expand territory and service neighboring hotels in Louisiana and Alabama. My software and computer systems are still in use under new ownership.

My experience managing large staffs of 80 and more landed me the opportunity to become one of the youngest general managers in the country at the time according to the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) in 1992. During this time I was the leader and innovator of a newly established local management group that specialized in the takeover and direct management of struggling, family owned radio stations along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Two AMs and three FMs. Introduced the first "Classic Rock" format (Rock 96.7 WXRG) to the Mississippi Gulf Coast in 1992 and took the number one spot in Men 18+ from the 100,000 watt country giant with only 3,000 watts the first year, and maintained that spot until I left broadcasting in 1994.
