The maintenance staff at Camp Manatoc is responsible for maintaining and operating a 600-acre, first-class camping facility and its activity areas on a daily basis. Duties for staffers are wide and varied, ranging from landscaping to plumbing, auto service, and heavy equipment operation. Manual labor such as roofing, digging, and light construction are regular tasks. Experience with safe procedures for working around and operating heavy equipment such as dump trucks, shop power tools, backhoes, and tractors is an integral part of everyday operations.
