More than 20 years after being the broadcaster for the New York Islanders in the NHL, I've returned to my roots to call hockey games again, this time for the Single-A professional minor league Hudson Valley Venom in the FPHL. And it's every bit as rewarding as broadcasting in the NHL. Also produce content for official team web site, mange all hockey information and press releases.

Worked daily with writers and columnists to create timely and intriguing feature stories, and also conceived coverage plan for breaking news, in fast-paced newsroom atmosphere. Edited long-form features, breaking news, game previews and recaps, offered guidance to writers and columnists. Communicated with producers and designers to keep official NHL website current and compelling, while maintaining quality control of the site, including making sure headlines were accurate, lively and SEO compliant. Direct reports included entire daytime editorial staff.

Oversaw the launch of iconic Sporting News brand in Canada with sportingnews.com/ca in June of 2017. Charged with hiring and managing editorial and social staff, meeting and exceeding business goals, identifying, assigning and editing engaging content, establishing best practices in regards to SEO and growing audience. Produced on-site game previews and recaps for National Hockey League contests played in the metropolitan New York area at Madison Square Garden, The Prudential Center, and the Barclays Center for sports wire service.

In my role as Digital Content Producer with the New York Rangers, I simultaneously served as beat writer, editor, on-camera reporter, and manager for the team's official websites and social media accounts. I composed game stories, game previews, practice reports, feature articles, and blog entries, while also having provided an up-to-the-minute social media presence on the Rangers' Twitter account. In addition, I managed the editorial staff, and edited all content on the web sites; and I was the on-air host for player, coach, management, and alumni interviews.

Oversaw all sponsorship and communications initiatives and departments, sought and managed sponsorship and ticket accounts, ran the baseball operations department, including all player personnel, and served as the club's play-by-play broadcaster and team spokesperson. During the 2003 and 2004 seasons I managed Rickey Henderson's extensive daily media schedule. In my first season heading up the team's baseball operations department the Bears won the 2007 Atlantic League Championship. Prior to the 2005 season I managed the transition of new team ownership, including implementing a new logo and uniforms and creating a new web site.

Hosted the daily hockey talk program, NHL LIVE, on Sirius Satellite Radio and nhl.com

Covered all of the major sports as a reporter and writer for The New York Times, with a main emphasis on hockey.

Handled the radio play-by-play duties and oversaw the communications department for the New Jersey Jackals minor league baseball team in each of the first five years of the club's existence. Served as team spokesperson, produced team's annual yearbook, and generated major publicity for the Survive the Stadium fan promotion, Mark Lemke's switch from major league World Series second baseman to minor league knuckleball pitcher, and appearances by Pete Rose and Yogi Berra.

Served as pre-game/post-game host and back-up play-by-play broadcaster from 1994-1997 before becoming the radio "Voice of the Islanders" from 1997-2001

Created and hosted the acclaimed NHL talk show "Rink Rap"
