* I achieved my goal of backpacking solo around the globe on a shoestring budget for a year 1991-92. I'm proud to have made the opportunity to travel to 74 countries and all 50 states. * Visiting and meeting people from significantly different socioeconomic locations opened up my heart. I dared to trespass across the boundaries of my tribe and experience how the other 99% live. * I have the cleverness and ability to triangulate information from various sources to determine a low budget way to survive and travel - often enduring the difficulty of public busses, cramped hostels, and eating street food.
