In my 35+ years in the insurance industry, I’ve learned that the best way to get results is to motivate and encourage. What energizes me at work each day is helping people challenge themselves and embrace new ideas. I love creating a motivational atmosphere that is contagious. I was brought up to appreciate how much hard work pays off, and how persistence paired with an honest, good heart is ultimately rewarded. Away from work, you can find me boating on lake Martin in AL, or enjoying competition BBQ all around the Southeast. There’s nothing quite like grilling up great meat with good friends. I am humbled and honored to serve on the Board of Directors for the nonprofit, 501©3 “Home of Hope” at The Gwinnett Children’s Shelter. I have witnessed this modest organization take a huge bite out of childhood homelessness. I combine my passion for competition BBQ with my love for “Home of Hope” by coordinating a yearly BBQ Festival at Coolray Field—the proceeds of which go directly to the shelter. www.sipandswine.com
