The Community Schools Alliance believes that a better system is needed to address the educational facility needs in Ontario's communities to ensure that education continues in small, rural and northern communities giving all rural children the opportunity to be educated in their home community.A better system should:ensure that school boards and municipal councils work together on decisions regarding education infrastructureprovide greater accountability for school board decisionsbe developed through a review of the governance model for educational decisionsrespect and value the input of students, parents, the community and municipalities.

Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario

This annual tournament, held at Whirlpool Golf Course every October raises funds for local Niagara on the Lake community charities. The tournament proceeds have been directed to many campaigns including the New Arena, Community Centre, Library, Swimming Pools and Splash Pad. To date we have raised better than $450,000 for community needs.
