Managed complete ERP system replacement from bid through implementation and upgrade to Sage X3 with MRP, finance, purchasing, WMS modules. Replaced entire network, adding 3 wireless networks and 3 virtual networks. Moved forecasting system to AWS with daily ERP updates. (Vanguard) Implemented a cloud-based inventory analysis system uploading daily ERP feeds. Built a sales analytical system in Power BI for margin and customer analysis. Championed a move to RedZone cloud based MES and OEE. Installed sensors plant wide; data collected through Allen Bradley PLC; captured in our KepServer; uploaded to RedZone’s AWS platform; and fed back to production floor employees on iPads and TVs installed throughout the plant. Established a disciplined process for Lean and Kaizen events. Upgraded the company’s pop3 e-mail system to Office 365. Leveraged Teams, Project, SharePoint, OneDrive in the cloud to increase productivity. Leveraging other Office 365 applications including Teams and Planner. Moved the QA department from entering data on “popsicle sticks” and reentering identical data in spreadsheets to deploying Chromebooks and entering data once on spreadsheets on SharePoint on Office 365 which allowed multiple departments to enter and view data in real time. Created web based, real time reports for the warehouse, production, purchasing, and finance. Increased devices on network from 70 PCs to a broad mix of 200 Chromebooks, iPads, Scanners, PCs and notebooks. Enabled secure remote access with MFA. Created a virtual team of professionals to scale up and down for projects as needed to manage projects of various complexity.

Architected a front-end scheduling system for our ERP/MRP that assigns people to the work order & line rather than the supervisor’s room; lead to a year over year reduction of 2,543 temp days vs. prior year. Produced hard dollar savings of $335,120, 1-year ROI of 2,390%, with $14,000 invested capital. Built a statistical model for picking in the warehouse based on sales orders enabling labor balancing between different functions. Built a real time OEE reporting system that was broadcast on TVs throughout the plant. Pulled the schedule from the ERP. Increased OEE more than 5% on 5 lines. Added a daily reporting system to the labor database enabling production cost tracking. Responsible for 68 employees, including 4 supervisors, a shipping manager, admin, and 14 production lines generating $47,980,000 in revenue. Shipped 16,800 orders consisting of 4.9 million cases, on 60,700 pallets weighing 90 million pounds. Reduced overall warehouse labor cost per case 8% year over year.
