After over 19 years of experience working in the day-to-day operations of radio stations across Texas, Jim Corley began working for Scott Studios in 1996 as a support technician. For six years, he provided support via phone, remote desktop, email, instant messaging, and in person. During this time, he traveled across the United States and Mexico, installing systems and conducting on site training seminars for station staff. When dMarc Broadcasting purchased the Scott Studios Automation System in 2002, Jim Corley’s intimate familiarity with the SS32 system had garnered him the position of senior technician, a position he maintained while mentoring the technical support team under dMarc.The depth of his experience led to his involvement in training and software development when, in 2006, Google Inc. purchased the Scott Studios Automation System from dMarc. In addition to providing third-tier support, Jim Corley created training curriculum for clients and staff members, created and conducted WebEx demonstrations for the Google Audio client base, and voiced training videos for the new V6 product. Because of his experience, he assisted the QA and Development teams throughout the software testing process to ensure the product met the practical needs of the broadcast industry.After Google’s exit from the radio automation industry in 2009, Jim Corley founded Corley Technical Services in order to bring his three decades plus of radio and broadcast automation experience directly to his clients. SS32 Support was created to focus on one important thing: quality support at affordable prices Later in September of 2009 Jim came back to continue his role in Support for WideOrbit inc who purchased the company from Google
