I successfully spearheaded the migration/reengineering of multiple data-driven, interactive webapplications and reports to run on new platforms per requirements and within time and cost limits; facilitated workflow among the business, coding, administrative and technical support groups to improve maintenance and deployment cycle efforts.

As a Team Lead/Technical Manager for Headstrong at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, I was a key contributor to the Citigroup/Morgan Stanley Joint Venture effort to convert legacy Citi Smith Barney web applications and reports used as sales tools by thousands of former Citi financial advisors being merged into the Morgan Stanley brokerage team.

I collaborated in creating data-driven distributed systems, web applications and dynamic reports for the firm’s financial advisors and their managers, evangelized the team’s products across the firm, and was the technical team’s representative to disaster recovery and project management groups.

I helped successfully transition the firm from a mainframe-intensive shop to one that leveraged distributed tools and delivered information on the web. I contributed significantly to staff efforts to integrate PC-based data, applications and analytical tools at the start of the Internet era.
