I am a member of McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I joined the firm as a business litigator in 1992 after a clerkship with the Pennsylvania Superior Court. I handle litigation projects in state and federal court, administrative proceedings, arbitration, and mediation.As a business litigator, I represent clients of the firm in all forms of transactional disputes including defense and prosecution of claims related to business transactions, claims involving corporate, partnership, and other business entity control, asset purchase agreements, stock purchase agreements, commercial lending, commercial leases, and non-competition agreements. I represent automobile dealers in franchise disputes including relocation, new point, and termination cases.As General Counsel to McNees, I advise the firm on ethics, conflicts, and loss prevention. I also serve as in-house counsel on professional and other litigation against the firm and its professionals.I have a long-time interest in pro bono service and in the delivery of legal services to disadvantaged populations. I have dedicated numerous hours of pro bono legal advice to individuals and families in the central Pennsylvania community, have served as the firm’s pro bono advisor for many years, and am currently on the firm’s pro bono committee. I have served as Chair of the Dauphin County Bar Association’s Public Service Committee since 1997 and am: President of the Community Justice Project, President of MidPenn Legal Services, and a Past-President of the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network.I graduated magna cum laude from Temple University with a BA degree in 1988, and the Dickinson School of Law (JD) in 1991, where I was a member of the Dickinson Law Review, Appellate Moot Court Board, and Woolsack Honor Society. I served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Peter Paul Olszewski, Pennsylvania Superior Court from 1991-1992.
