About James Delprete
Home improvement expert with over 40 years in the industry and fully licensed and insured. To say that the building and construction trade is in my blood never seems to do it justice. So here's how it all started.Beantown Home Improvements is a family owned and operated business built around "old school" values serving the New England area. The President of the company, Jim DelPrete comes from a long line of builders and construction workers, who have served much the South Shore of Massachusetts. His grandfather, Albert DelPrete, owned & operated DelPrete Construction founded in 1947. This company, which was one of the largest in its time and employed several hundred local workers, not only built hundreds of homes in Massachusetts, but was also responsible for building all of the original sea walls from Cape Cod to New Hampshire. Fast forward 30+ years and several of Albert’s children; David, Patsy, Mary and Paul (Jim’s father) all owned their own construction companies, and several of their children still build new homes today. In 1984, Jim’s parents, Paul & Gail both founded DelMar Builders Inc., which operated mainly on the South Shore building homes for first time home buyers. Working alongside with his father, Jim began learning the trade early on, but more importantly learned the right way to do things. To anyone that knows Paul or Gail their reputation precedes them. They are very well known for being honest people and the quality in which they built a home. They never used cheap materials or cut corners to save a few dollars and if something could be improved upon, it was done while that house was being built. They always looked at each and every home as if they were building it for themselves. It’s these old school values that Jim carries with him today at Beantown Home Improvements. In today's day and age where quality, craftsmanship and simple honesty can be tough, if not impossible to find, you need not look any further.
Listed skills include Product Management, Sales Management, Cross Functional Team Leadership, Sales, and 29 others.
