I started my career at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs CO. As the Operations Coordinator, I was responsible for the scheduling and program support for all events held annually at the Olympic Training Center. Feeling the “event itch” I moved to Los Angeles starting my work on the US Olympic Festivals in LA, San Antonio and St. Louis. In each of these events he served as Logistics Director responsible for the ordering, acquisition, delivery and recovery of all the materials needed to run these 27 sport, 5000 athlete events.In 1994 I went to ESPN as the third person hired to create and execute the first Extreme Games, now known as the X Games. I served as Director of Sports and Competitions for both the X Games and the Winter X Games until the summer of 1999 when ESPN asked me to head up a new venture called the Great Outdoor Games. In 2000 ESPN entrusted me to create and execute the first Great Outdoor Games and I was responsible for all aspects of the event. In 2001 when ESPN bought the Worlds Largest Bass Fishing organization, BASS, I was asked to revamp all of their events, while also overseeing all ESPN Outdoor events. I joined The Gameday Management team in the fall of 2008 as a contractor and was hired as full time staff in March of 2009. My primary responsibility was to serve as Project Manager for the 2010 World Equestrian Games.I just finished serving as the Sr. Director of Operations for World Choir Games 2012, Inc.
