Having accomplished my previous life goals, I am now focused on: "Where do I go from here?"What are the Big Problems facing the World that I can have a positive effect on? Once identified, applying the Inventive, entrepreneurial, connect-the-dots approach used in the past to identify creative solutions, then apply those business principals and forces learned to solve these problems.Most recent past project (2020): Keep my family and friends safe from Covid-19 (Done-Thru connecting the dots of medical research done by others, discovered and recommended a combination of over-the-counter supplements to my family & friends in May of 2020 [Quercetin (as zinc ionophore), Zinc, Multiple Vitamins + C & D] that reduced virus replication, minimized viral loading, and kept everyone out of the hospital: this got us all thru the outbreak safely) Current #1 project: Find a cure for Diabetes type 1 in 2024 (My daughter has this) Note: I am going to have to move this back to 2025 as I got sidetracked and started looking into Global Warming this past summer and got consumed with that. The good news is I was able to figure it out. Currently trying to figure out how to get the word out so I can focus on #1 again. Ongoing activities: Manage personal investment portfolio to have my investments outlive me;Be a person of God and follow Jesus' command to spread the news he taught; Mentor and help my family and others; Add insight and perspective to Issues created by a changing world.

Managed an investment group with primary holdings in DMP Inc. Sold out our investments in 2016 and delivered an average ROI of 853% to our 19 investors.

Started this Geographic Information System (GIS) business concept as a service inside of Psomas as the GIS market gained traction in the 1990's. Took the subscription concept out of Psomas and Co-Founded DMP LLC as an independent business providing data hooked to aerial photography in 2000. Provided initial direction, oversight, and mentoring to this new startup. As the business grew transitioned to an active Board Member providing strategic input for this subscription based GIS. Sold my ownership in 2016.

Enhanced design and provided Construction Supervision for the construction of an 10,000 sq, ft. home for my family in Utah. Due to the unexpected illness of my builder, I stepped in to assist keeping the project moving ahead while being able to make design changes to end up with the "House of my Dreams".

While attending Pasadena City College I joined Psomas and Associates. Here I had the opportunity to hold many positions (Land Surveyor, Project Manager, Corporate Marketing Director, Managing Principal, VP & Regional Director, Director on BOD), obtain my Professional Land Surveyors License, and help grow this small California land surveying discipline (17 employees) into the largest private Geospatial firm West of the Mississippi River and listed in the ENR's top 100 Consulting Engineers list. Believing "Bigger-was-Better" and set on growth, I was instrumental in expanding into other market segments including Large-Scale-Surveying and Construction layout. (Favorite Construction Project: West Coast Space Shuttle Launch Facility, [Mothballed after the Challenger explosion in 1986] Currently used for Titan and Delta IV Heavy Rocket launches) With an eye on smoothing cash flows, I Introduced GIS Services in 1984, Digital Orthophotography in 1999, and Co-founded Digital Map Products, a subscription GIS (www.digmap.com) in 1997 so we could enter the Municipal Market to augment our Private Developer Business.While addressing these business items I took time to finish my undergraduate studies earning a degree in Business Administration from the University of Redlands, and take a six week tour of Europe, Africa, and the Middle East with my family while on sabbatical.Sold my ownership in 2000 but was retained to manage the Salt Lake City Office during a management transition. Retired from Psomas in January of 2004.

After moving to California during a construction lull, I took a position as Service Station Manager in Pasadena California, managing a 24/7 Company owned service station. It was here I started learning sales and marketing which I truly enjoyed. The station and I individually won many sales and marketing awards. During this time I also attended Pasadena City College to obtain an AA degree in Civil Engineering while working and raising my family.

First time involved in construction: Started as a laborer and worked up to Construction Superintendent building major water and sewer treatment plants in New Jersey and New York. It was here I started to learn about organization, people management, and the importance of getting things done on time and on budget.

Started as a race horse groom for Vernon Dancer Stables after graduating high School at age 16. Joined the Williams Stable as a race horse trainer then earned my drivers license at age 20. I drove Harness Horses in pari-mutual races throughout the NorthEast and as far West as Chicago. I learned a lot about people, competition, and the importance of cash management during these years. I left the business I loved to enter a business with smoother cash flows and marry the childhood sweetheart that I loved more. Continued racing part time until we left for California and warmer weather in 1968.
