Under Jim’s leadership, Benchmarking Partners was the first research firm to develop Internet best practices across all major industries and functions and created the digital best practice process models for major technology vendors, including: * SAP’s Solution Maps * Oracle’s e-business calculator * Cisco’s NetIQ * Deloitte’s Industry PrintBenchmarking Partners also performed seminal research supporting Michael Hammer’s "Second Wave of ERP" Executive series in the late 1990’s. Preceding Benchmarking Partners, Jim was Global Managing Director-Operations of Gemini Consulting, the leading innovator in re-engineering, and COO of its predecessor firm, United Research (’84-’96.) Gemini was merged with Cap Gemini Sogeti in 1990. Jim started his career with IBM in Network Computing and holds a Master’s Degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.On a personal level, Jim resides in Naples, FL near PRO’s Global Research Center and in Newport, RI, has served on numerous corporate and nonprofit boards and surfs whenever there are waves.
