Responsible for the management of all activities of the WGBH boards including the Board Of Trustees and Board of Overseers, including assessing the institution’s leadership needs vis-à-vis the composition of the boards, identifying skills and talents of board members, and developing and implementing a plan of engagement for all members. Directs succession planning for Trustees and Overseers. Works with the senior executives to develop agendas and programs for the Trustees and Overseers meetings, as well as the committee meetings. Assess ongoing committee structure, overall meeting scheduling, and organizational needs for board management.Develops, directs and executes a communication plan for the boards.

Responsible for directing, scheduling and managing operations for a national Public Broadcasting System (PBS) primetime, award winning television series.Specific responsibilities include all facets of communications, advertising, marketing and development, production and administration.Supervise internal team, as well as external advertising, public relations and social media agencies to create successful integrated marketing campaigns.Lead management team consisting of communications and marketing, production and post-production, administrative and digital teams in setting short-term and long-term goals for the series.Serve as liaison with all internal departments and external communities of interest including corporate and foundation sponsors, educational institutions andmarketing partners.Develop communication plans around sensitive and controversial content.Directed strategic planning for the series including leading research effortsin both digital platforms, communications strategies and content development.Supervise and mentor staff.Administer budget.

Responsible for course design and delivery of communications related courses in the College of Arts and Sciences including Broadcast Writing and Broadcast Programming

Advise professionally managed, student run network including all areas of television production, post-production, programming, broadcast operations, ad sales, and communications. Also served as advisor to the 2008 Evvy Awards,a multi-camera, live switch awards program entirely produced by students.
