Responsible for examining loan brokers throughout the state for compliance with the Indiana Loan Broker Act, Indiana Administrative Code, and supporting federal mortgage regulations. Schedule exams, gather all documents and records for review, conduct exams, and write reports.Act as the Secretary of State, Securities Division’s subject matter expert in mortgage origination, operations, regulation, and compliance. Chairperson of the State Mortgage Lending and Fraud Prevention Task Force.

I managed all aspects of correspondent and wholesale renovation lending for 20+ MLO's. Products included FHA Standard 203k's, FHA Limited 203k's, VA's, and Fannie Mae Conventional Homestyles. I have specialized in renovation lending since March, 2002.Approved Mortgage, A Winterwood Mortgage Group, is the largest and oldest locally owned mortgage banker in Central Indiana, with over 5 billion funded for Indiana families.

After being away 11 years, I was recruited back to Wells Fargo to help manage and grow renovation lending throughout Indiana and parts of Ohio. A team of 3 including myself covered 12 retail branches and approximately 80 MLO's. Wells Fargo stopped offering renovation lending in 2017.

I was a broker and correspondent lender of all types of mortgage loans, conventional and government, purchase and refinance. I specialized in renovation mortgage lending- FHA 203k's, Standard and Limited, and Fannie Mae Conventional Homestyles. Trained other MLO's in TRID compliance. Since its inception in 1992, Winterwood Mortgage Group has consistently been ranked in the top 20 mortgage lenders in central Indiana in all categories, including sales, reputation, and customer service.

• Hired, trained, and managed all staff and functions of the only Chase Homeownership Center in Indiana for the entire time it was in existence. (Loss Mitigation and Foreclosure Prevention)• The highly trained staff included 6 Customer Assistant Specialists (CAS), 2 Underwriters, 1 Admin, and 2 Security Officers.• The CAS worked with struggling customers face-to-face and over the phone to help mitigate loss and find solutions to prevent home foreclosure. Many critical metrics were measured and tracked daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly. Reduced Indiana foreclosure rates to 2006 levels.• The Indianapolis Center routinely ranked in the top one third of all centers regionally (13) and nationally (83) in all metrics.• The environment was very intense and high pressured requiring 100% compliance and transparency at all times. • I implemented a cutting edge Customer Centric approach that resulted in unsurpassed customer satisfaction results.• I served as a Chase Corporate Ambassador and the main public relations liaison and subject matter expert between the firm and not-for-profit agencies, local, state, and the federal government, and over 130 retail bank branches in Indiana.
