During my 35+ year career, I have managed the planning and design of facilities for all types of activities and programs. I've led projects from both sides of the “table” - for 14 years as a project coordinator and University Architect for the four campuses of the University of Missouri System and for the past 18 years as a practicing architect and consultant working with clients across the United States and in Canada. Since 1999, I have managed the planning and design of collegiate sports and recreation facilities as a principal both with a large, international sports architecture firm and my own firm - Lempka Edson Architects.My focus is on pre-design services and on providing clients with a facilitative, proactive management style based on clear and regular communication among all stakeholders and consultants.
