Datassential enables leading food and beverage manufacturers, retailers and foodservice operators to more effectively develop, market and sell their products. We deploy AI-powered innovation tools and predictive analytics to market intelligence and proprietary, foodservice-specific trend-able data to understand what customers want, streamline product development, and provide sales intelligence through intuitive tools with digestible, presentation-ready insights.With nearly thirty years of experience in enterprise software, data, and info services industries, I have committed myself to driving innovation and growth. Before Datassential, I was a senior operating partner for Spectrum Equity. I spearheaded dozens of value-creation projects, improved go-to-market strategies, coached executive teams, and drove best practices throughout the organizations. I was honored to serve on the boards of Trintech (exit to Vista), Net Health (exit to Carlyle), RainKing (exit to DiscoverOrg), Ease (exit to Employee Navigator), Expert Institute (exit to Levine Leichtman), Bitly, and VBA Software. I began my career at Zywave, Inc., the leading provider of front-office software solutions for insurance brokers. I was privileged to be part of Zywave’s founding team and, as president, helped drive the business to nearly $100 million in recurring revenue and two exits (to Vista Equity in 2008 and to Aurora Capital in 2013). In 2010, I was named the Vista Equity Partners Portfolio Executive of the Year for my work driving transformational change in the company.
