This also creates an appreciation of the cycles of life, as well as careful, artful mending of damage. The name sabi was chosen because we believe this represents what we need to appreciate more - age and the works by skilled hands. Everything in the store is sustainable made by hands and intended to last a lifetime. We are passionate about teaching how to choose little and in no way feel like it's less because in that way we also tackle consumerism and contribute to showing a more sustainable future. The name sabi is part of the name wabi-sabi which is a Japanese aesthetic that celebrates the simple, the imperfect and impermanence and it's huge inspiration to us.
