Responsible for Etsy Payments P&L (#2 revenue line), and Risk and Treasury operations for a growing global marketplace with FY’17 revenue of $258M with $3.3B in GMS, and a three year, 48% CAGR supporting 30M Buyers and 2M Sellers.Led product expansions in APAC and the EU, resulting in 44% increase in YoY Revenue rate. Nearly doubled Etsy Payments’ revenue ($136M to $258M) over two years. Expanded from 22 to 36 countries and 10 to 12 currencies over same period.Drove a 480 bps expansion in Gross Margin (38.4% -> 43.2%) through re-negotiation of strategic payments partnership contracts.Led the international Risk and Treasury organization. Refactored Risk team into an ROI-focused and metrics-driven operation by installing and developing team leaders, reorganizing into sub-teams, developing KPIs, and installing operational dashboards. Built Treasury capability from scratch and served as Treasurer until hired a backfill.
