Since our Milton office opened in 2009, Nick Mocan and I have worked to grow our office and portfolio serving the GTA. As an Associate, I create strategies and plans for our business development and help make business decisions that ensure our growth provides opportunities for both our employees and clients.I am also a mentor to our staff, helping them grow personally and professionally to support their success. I firmly believe people are happiest when they are challenged and rewarded – taking risks like meeting a new client, leading a project, or taking on new responsibilities. I am proud to watch the people I have mentored become Professional Engineers and choose to stay with Crozier as valued members of our staff.

I joined Crozier in 2007 as a Senior Engineer and Project Manager. As a Project Manager, I oversee over 150 active projects and have guided many others from concept to completion. My history and experience in this industry over the past 25 years help me anticipate and account for project design and approval needs from the beginning of the project. As an entrepreneur, I understand the importance of my clients’ projects, and work to ensure their goals are met, and keep my clients informed about approvals, permits, and deadlines. I create project strategies from the top down, looking at the “big picture” and developing high-level strategies before detailed project design. This view also helps me offer practical solutions to client problems and site development goals.

I love serving the community, meeting new people, and making a difference. I’ve been a member of Palgrave Rotary for 5 years, and in 2015, I was honoured to receive the Rotarian of the Year award from the Rotary Club of Palgrave. In 2016, I completed my first term as President. I also serve as the Chair for our annual Wines of the World event, held at the Pan Am Equestrian Centre in Palgrave. I am currently President as we steer our club forward in a new direction.

In September 2017, I was welcomed to the Brampton and Caledon Community Foundation (BACCF) as a Member of the Board of Directors for a three-year term.BACCF connects community philanthropists with multiple charities around Brampton, Caledon, and the surrounding area. These charities support a variety of causes including social, cultural, and healthcare initiatives. By connecting donors with charitable organizations that align with their values and goals, the Foundation aims to leave a legacy for the betterment and development of these communities. As an active member, I participate in monthly meetings to discuss and review governance, strategic planning, budgets, framework policies, and City/Town bylaws.

In January of 2000, I started a golf course development company that provided project management, engineering, and business plan services. One of the biggest projects I managed was the development of the 18-hole Silver Creek Golf Club with Garden River First Nation. I’m happy to say the course has now been in operation for over 10 years. Early in my start-up of Penguin Golf, I embraced GPS survey technology to map golf course features. This mapping evolved into construction layout through GPS, detailed construction survey, and GPS machine control.

During my 13 year career at R.J. Burnside, my role evolved from construction administrator to a design engineer to a project manager. My role as a project manager used my knowledge of construction, engineering principles, and client goals. I managed many diverse projects including remote First Nations water and sewage systems, residential and commercial land development, and major resort recreational projects.
