As a Production Supervisor, I’m responsible for leading and monitoring daily production with a focus in fabrication, rotors, and welding departments. In this role, I collaborate cross-functionally to ensure all production operations align with the organization’s overall goals and targets. I also monitor production to identify potential issues and implement corrections for process improvement. Additionally, I lead daily production meeting with 14 production leads along with scheduling, engineering, shipping, and inventory team members. Key contributions include: • Manages and supervises 70 direct reports across multiple locations by delegating accountability through leads• Maintains responsibility for managing manufacturing performance and quality to meet all schedules on-time• Directed several machine research and acquisition projects effectively totaling over $2,500,000 in project value• Insources major component manufacture through ongoing management of international vendor relationship• Coordinated on implementation of complete redesign for factory layout across two separate company locations• Focuses on process improvements through 5S projects on shop floor and standardization production projects

I served as a Swiss Machinist with RTI Remmele Medical (2014) and Swiss Machinist/Lead with Twin City EDM (2013 – 2014).In these roles, I provided assistance to employees in daily job performance, including assisting, troubleshooting, and router tracking. I also maintained responsibility for programming and editing to close tolerance prints, setup, and operation of Tsugami Swiss Machines. Additionally, I machined a variety of close tolerance biomedical parts. Key contributions included: • Maintained responsibility for overseeing inspection and quality control of all parts that were processed• Collaborated with Quality Assurance and Engineering on any non-conformance and corrective actions• Coordinated, organized, and assisted with leading improvement projects within the Swiss Department

As a Swiss Department Lead, I provided assistance to the department in daily operations and supported ongoing troubleshooting. While in this position, I collaborated with the Scheduler to designate and execute machine schedule to meet delivery deadlines. I adjusted the work schedule and overtime to cover manpower shortages. I also facilitated, developed, and coordinated training for employees and supported Lean objectives across the Swiss Department. In addition, I monitored paperwork in accordance with Quality Management System. Key contributions included: • Worked directly with Quality Assurance and Engineering on non-conformance and corrective action• Conducted employee performance reviews, monitored time and attendance, and addressed any issues• Provided feedback to employees on performance improvements and recognized all employee efforts• Served as Value Stream Member reducing setup time and increasing production while reducing waste
