    The Corner Market was a specialty grocery and cafe on Highway 100 in Nashville. My wife, Emily Frith, started the Market in 1988. I joined her in the business as general manager in 1990. The Corner Market was voted "Best Specialty Grocery" by the The Nashville Scene for ten consecutive years from 1993 - 2003. The Market also received accolades for catering and prepared food from the Nashville Banner, The Tennessean, and The Nashville Scene. Over the years, the Market was featured as one of Nashville's most popular cafes in numerous other publications, including the New York Times and N Focus magazine. In 2002, Emily and I sold our controlling interest in the business. The new owner closed The Corner Market in 2004. There is currently an active Corner Market fan club on Facebook!
