I spent just over 15 years working at GEICO. During my time there I held many different roles. Initially my title was as a Customer Service Representative. In this role I answered inbound calls from clients that primarily wished to discuss their automobile policy and pay on their bills as well. I would also help the client to make changes to their coverage, vehicle, driver, and more. I spent a few years in this position.I then moved to a new role of Internet Customer Service. I would receive requests from clients primarily via email, chat, and even online submission. These requests would have me adjusting or editing any changes to the policy that the online system was incapable of completing on it's own.I was also selected as a project lead and mentor for numerous projects and tasks. Many of these projects brought the challenge for me to train employees on new changes and procedures in a way that was easy for employees to adjust to.I also spent a few years as an Insurance Underwriter. For this position I would review new and renewing policies to ensure they were rated correctly. I used many resources to analyze the client records and data to determine if any changes to the policy or pricing were necessary.I have recently completed CE courses to renew my Producer License should I be offered a position that will require it. I also made the choice to take Commercial Insurance based courses to help broaden my knowledge.
