Served as Branch Manager for an International distributor of Medical and Industrial specialty gases, hard goods and safety equipment to the Healthcare, Industrial, Fabrication and Contractor industries. Responsible for insuring the day to day operations of the Branch manufacturing, distribution and sales teams complied with policies and guidelines while meeting or exceeding all budgets and goals. All of this was done while promoting teamwork and a truly “Safety First” attitude.Applied 5s and lean supply chain and inventory principles resulting in inventory days on hand dropping 32% * Totally revamped service and distribution leading to a better customer experience and reducing overtime by over 60%. * EBITDA 40% over budget year 1 and over budget by more than 100% year 2, leading to National Branch of the year 2017, Regional Branch of the Year 2017 and 2018, New Manager of the Year 2017 and our Branch providing >50% of the Intermountain Region's EBITDA over budget gain for 2017. Hired as Operations Manager tasked with changing the image and building a retail clientele of a privately held hardware store/lumberyard. Applied 5s and Lean principles as well as remerchandising and giving the showroom a much needed facelift with new windows and displays. Implemented company policies, employee scheduling, uniform and reward programs to increase employee satisfaction, productivity and retention. Then to draw folks in to see the improvements we held “Thank You Thursdays” monthly, vendor sponsored BBQs for customers to increase excitement in our new look, visits, and knowledge of product offerings.Hardlines sales increased by 80% year 1 and an additional 58% year 2 * Gross margin percentage up 6% * average ticket count increased 232% * Gross Margin Return On Investment (GMROI) up 85% * Lowered Safety events to 0 * Lowered employee turnover to 1

Oversaw all aspects of operations including adding locations, specialized divisions and strategic business alliances. Implemented training and mentoring programs complete with compensation increases, in order to attract and keep skilled personnel. Converted POS system at original location to include complete computerized inventory control. Opened a second Radio Shack location, a computer sales and repair location and two cellular stores in addition to main store, acting as a General Manager to all.
