Jim Hargreaves is the Founder and Creative Director of Hampton Hargreaves, a Pittsburgh-based design studio specializing in logo design, packaging and collateral for beer, wine, spirits, food and retail goods.Jim’s experience spans a variety of disciplines, including branding and identity, type design, packaging, print and interactive. He has worked with clients in a myriad of industries, from healthcare and technology to arts organizations and restaurants. Current clients include Miller's Banana Pepper Mustard, Eleventh Hour Brewing Co. and Bixbi Pet, in addition to many notable former clients such as Burgatory, Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama, UPMC and Denver Mountain Parks.Jim’s work has been recognized by a variety of organizations and publications, including the AIGA, the American Advertising Federation, Brand New, The Dieline, Oh Beautiful Beer, Art of the Menu, For Print Only, Print, LogoLounge, HOW Books and Rockport Publishers.Prior to founding Hampton Hargreaves, Jim worked for Denver’s Barnhart Communications and most recently, Wall-to-Wall Studios’ Pittsburgh office, where he served as Senior Designer. He holds a BA in Studio Art from Gettysburg College and an MA in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design.In his spare time, Jim devotes much of his energy to craft beer, cooking, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins and playing his Taylor guitar.-
