About Jim Heaphy

I am the owner of TopRepair, Northern California's leading specialist in repairing, modifying and maintaining countertops. TopRepair is a small family business. I am happy to say that our company has survived the recession, our sales were up significantly in 2011 and 2012, and we are starting 2013 strongly. We work with solid surface materials such as DuPont Corian; quartz (engineered stone) products such as Silestone, Caesarstone and Zodiaq; granite, marble and other natural stones; wood butcher block and concrete countertops. We operate from Fresno north to the Oregon border, and from the Pacific Ocean to the Reno/Tahoe area. Although most of our work is in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Sacramento area, we will travel to even the most remote areas of Northern California to provide our services.Specialties: I am a nationally recognized expert in the field of fabrication, installation, repair and maintenance of solid surface materials such as DuPont Corian. I am a published freelance writer, specializing in technical writing for the construction and home remodeling industry, as well as in political writing and analysis. I have decades of experience in management and supervision, in both small and large enterprises. I am a volunteer editor and writer for Wikipedia.
