  Jim began his career as a Staff Accountant in 1990 after graduating from the University of Toronto. Jim received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1995 and rose through the ranks to Partner in 2006.Jim is a partner in the Audit and Assurance group at Lipton LLP Chartered Accountants. With more than 20 years of public accounting experience with owner-managed companies, Jim is able to oversee all aspects of audit or assurance engagements for his clients, including taxation, strategic planning and analysis of results.Jim has extensive experience in a wide range of industries, including real estate development, property management, commercial construction, manufacturing, distribution and not-for-profit entities. Jim is also a partner that clients turn to for the preparation of due diligence reports, taxation analysis and advice on potential acquistions.Jim has been proactive in assisting clients with the implementation of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and Accounting Standards for Not-for-Profit Organizations. Jim is also a member of Lipton's Efficiency Committee.
