Here's a summary of my 30+ year career journey:23-Year Real Estate Career growing a portfolio from $400 million $1.4 billion. During those 23 years I gained skills in development, acquisition, running a national service organization of 200+ and - lastly - serving as Chief Administrative Officer.I left my real estate career to become a stay-at-home single father to my 3 children for 7 years after a cancer detour. During those 7 years I started a parenting blog that became a weekly column in the Chicago Tribune's suburban papers. I leveraged that exposure into one of the country's most successful platforms and provided consulting services to brands, spokesperson services and a variety of creative, communication and social media services.When my youngest child left for college I entered the nonprofit world with an organization providing support to the children of cancer patients - first serving as their Chief Development/Marketing Officer and then ultimately their Chief Brand Officer.From that role I was recruited to the highly regarded Northwestern Memorial Foundation - the philanthropic arm of Northwestern Memorial Hospital. I now a part-time Major Gift Officer at the Foundation and proud of my annual fundraising accomplishments. Thanks for your interest.
