Responsible for growing and managing the Learning Solutions and Custom Content Development team at HireRoad - providing leadership and vision for instructional design, eLearning/multimedia production, emerging technologies, and business development to support strategic company-wide initiatives.

Create innovative learning solutions by analyzing client requirements, conducting needs analysis, assessing key learning gaps, and providing design direction to creative/development team to deliver engaging learning experiences to solve critical learning needs.

• Design plans outlining the instructional and technical approach used to develop custom training and education.• Responsible for formulating learning objectives and detailed needs assessments; working directly with subject matter experts and local audiences. • Design storyboards, scripts, interface, visual treatment, localization (cultural & language), and interactive elements for custom content. • Work with and provide direction to a diverse team of graphic designers, programmers, and videographers to develop guided practice activities, scenarios, storytelling, interactive gaming, simulations, infographics, and assessments.• Fluency in eLearning Authoring Software (Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate).• Effectively apply instructional design process and theories (ADDIE, SAM), throughout learning activities and content development.• Author of numerous White Paper’s including: Language and Cultural Context of Global E-learning, Empathetic Design, Mobile Learning, and E-learning Cost Analysis.• Executed detailed quality assurance testing and requirements for course delivery within numerous learning management systems.

• Provided research and administrative support to Public and Alumni Affairs activities of Department of Defense institution for strategic security studies, research, and outreach in Africa.• Produced analytical research on mobile technology and its applications for outreach in Africa.• Presented research recommendations to the Director and successfully incorporated findings into new Communications Strategic Plan.• Developed and maintained new weekly Africa-focused events calendar in Washington DC, lauded as successful new outreach tool for faculty, leadership, and staff.

• Organized, trained, and lead student teams for the University of Maryland on community development projects aimed at varying international/domestic social issues and locations.• Designed and facilitated training and mentorship program for emerging trip leaders.• Developed themes and project goals; created, coordinated, and implemented activity and travel itineraries; managed budgets; led coordination with local organizations; and, conducted orientation trainings. Projects included: — Los Andes, Guatemala: Sustainable development and fair trade practices (01/2011)— Boston, MA: Urban agriculture and food security (03/2010) — Lima, Peru: Community and educational development (03/2009).

• Facilitated needs assessment among teachers; identified, designed and implemented project ideas approved by the Country Director. • Executed aggressive budgets, wrote grants, and provided oversight of implementation processes of multiple projects in collaboration with Kenyan staff. As a result of community buy-in, projects are still on going: — Implemented workshops and teacher training in basic computer literacy, statistical analysis, and organizational efficiency.— Trained and delegated leadership roles including system organization, log-in, and checkout procedures for educational library serving 16 teachers and 800 students.— Designed and trained faculty for peer-mentoring program focused on holistic academic and socio-emotional growth of students. — Nominated as an ambassador for the program as a result of project success while in Kenya.
