Senior Program Manager For Verisign Billing & OssVerisign May 2004 - Apr 2008Verisgn [$VRSN with US$1.2B in revenue] bought the former HOsystems for US$358M after a very successful run as an independant wireless billing company. Upon the acquisition, Verisign's new Communications Services Division encompassed Information Services, Security Services, as well as it included the Commerce division which oversees products and services of telephony asset management, including billing, digital content management, intelligent database services, as well as connectivity and interoperability. In May of 2004, $VRSN created a new position of Senior Manager for Program Management, whose role encompassed delivering the Verisign Billing & OSS billing system to at first a single client worth US$150M+ in revenue over 5 years, and ultimately the entire wireless billing customers. This role also included strategic critical path analysis/planning, client communications, and managing a team of project managers, data analysts, and business and system analyst. The role also includes UAT planning, defining SOW's, interface analysis, documenting business process re-engineering (BPR), managing communication with the engineering teams, and having administrative responsibilities over the processes involved in delivering the product within specification to market in the required time. Lastly, this role encompassed managing the development processes of three teams across multiple time zones, internationally, and ensuring that all executed according to the strategic plan. -

In kind, my team worked on positioning our products to align with market needs while delivering on the sales process of moving our customers closer to making the purchase decision. Our marketing team in essence helped to facilitate the sale by producing strategic placement of the $VRSN products while providing the needed material for the Sales team to close deals. -
