- Led a number of research and experimental projects on natural and urban environments to rethink the restoration effect which has been considered as nature’s unique function. • Developed an online experiment to study “vibes” that people perceive in the scene to shift the focus from object-centered to scene-centered in connection with the restoration effect. • Designed an observational study and field experiment to identify the attributes that influence people’s attention by measuring physiological reactions when exposed to different scenery (visual stimuli).- keywords: gist of the scene, scene memorability, people in the scene, soft fascination, restoration effect
