As Vice President, Regional Trust Executive, Jim leads the team at First Horizon Bank that handles all fiduciary accounts in Middle Tennessee in addition to out-of-area accounts that benefit from having a Tennessee-based corporate trustee. He advises primarily high-net-worth clients on estate planning and other related financial matters including fiduciary investment management and trust and estate administration.Jim first joined First Horizon in the Wealth Management and Retail Banking divisions in 2012. He is a multi-year Diamond Circle qualifier, the highest sales recognition award at First Horizon Bank, as well as a multi-year Million Dollar Club qualifier, the highest platform brokerage sales award at First Horizon Advisors. Jim is also a proud recipient of the GEM Award, the highest customer service accolade awarded to only one First Horizon associate each year.Jim earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Middle Tennessee State University and his Juris Doctor from the Nashville School of Law. He is a licensed attorney in the State of Tennessee and a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and Rutherford and Cannon County Bar Association. Jim is also a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) and serves on the Tennessee Bankers Association Trust Committee. Jim holds Tennessee life and health insurance licenses and Series 6, 7, 63, and 66 FINRA licenses (currently inactive).
