I spent the last 15 years solving complex issues for Semiconductor industry. As a serial entrepreneur, I have teamed with engineering, marketing and customers to rollout 14 new products. Synopsys acquired 4 of the companies I worked for in this time period The highlights are as follows:• Led a team from concept, contract negotiations and implemented working in concert with IBM’s centralized process control system establishing IBM’s first “touchless” semiconductor manufacturing line. This was an innovative fundamental shift from tool centric solutions, enabling enterprise level of productivity.• Negotiated and implemented Enterprise Yield management system, which provided real-time data on the global supply chain, which closed the gap between the Asian semiconductor factories and the US based design houses. This enabled shorter production schedules and feedback to factory ERP and MES applications. Customer’s included Qualcomm and Broadcom.• Transitioned design methodologies form the “CMOS bubble decade” to the present requirements which includes the physical effect of small geometries and the explosion of the wireless industry.
