In this role, Jim provided brokerage and consulting services to pension funds, tenants, and landlords, regarding data center strategies throughout the US and Canada. He successfully completed transactions for Comcast, Corporate Office Properties Trust, Liberty Mutual, Oxford Properties, Singlehop, Sony and Transaction Network Services.

During his tenure, Jim created a national data center group for one of the largest national real estate companies providing services that run the gamut from helping companies find debt and equity to evaluating wholesale data center pods. Members of his team were diversified geographically and by skillset employing electrical engineers, data center managers.

Prior to JLL acquisition of Staubach, Jim served as the co-leader of the largest data center group representing only tenants. He worked with several of the largest telecommunication firms in helping them create telco hotels. He also signed the first lease at 350 East Cermak with Frontier Communications.
