About Jim Kleikamp

I have always had a strong interest in finance, and how virtually each and every decision made by an organization has an economic impact. After 16 years in the role of CFO at a number of Kansas City area companies, I was invited to return to the banking industry. My previous experience in bank regulation coupled with years serving as the decision maker for private commercial businesses, provided me a unique perspective on how to serve banking clients. In my roles as CFO, I have a record of driving strategies, initiatives, and processes to generate gains in financial performance and operational efficiencies. I also gained expertise in leveraging business planning and information technology to reduce costs and improve productivities. I am passionate about relationship building and negotiating with key internal and external decision makers. I continue to use my command of strategic planning, process improvement, variance analysis, business valuation, risk management, financial modeling & forecasting, leadership & communication, and international commerce to serve the clients of Bank of Blue Valley.
