Played a major role in the creation of an entire CI program from the ground up in an environment where a CI culture was not a top down initiative.Major Accomplishments- Leader of a Global Implementation Project using Lean project tools and approach to create efficiencies in communication and on time execution.- Designed several training courses on CI and useful tools (Simple Statistics, Measures, Lean Problem Solving, Experimentation, Root Cause Problem Solving, DMAIC, Coaching Problem Solving, others)- Trained employees in multiple organizations globally- Coaching people leading projects globally- Developed over 50 proven CI Project Leaders in the past 2 years- Have lead or co-lead multiple CI workshops globally resulting in high business impact improvements in various organizations- Regarded as a global expert on CI and Lean principles as well as a resource for teaching engineers basic statistical toolsBackground DetailOver the last 5 years NI has been going through a Lean and CI cultural transformation. It started with Manufacturing and is now moving into all other areas of the business. My role has been to help catalyze that transformation and learn how to influence change in those various areas Globally including R&D, Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT. The effort was initiated from middle management and is just now propagating up and down through the organization. The Change Management approach was unique in each area, but now momentum is beginning to create the pull we have been striving for over the last few years. The experience gained during these last few years to learn how to create a cultural change in an organization has been invaluable.During this time, multiple training courses have been developed and delivered along with a now growing coaching program to support newly trained problem solvers.
