• Product lead on the due diligence on Adherence Technologies (AccuNurse) for acquisition.

• Promoted to identify new revenue, market, product, and process opportunities for Vocollect.ENTERPRISE IMPACT:
• Made the business case for Vocollect to enter the headset business. Championed internal design and manufacture over acquiring an existing headset manufacturer. ROI achieved in less than 2 years. First headset product.
• Defined and rolled-out corporate intellectual property processes (still in use today).
• Led Vocollect’s initial RFID strategy and research, including using a phased entrepreneurial market entry to keep costs aligned with proven market need.

• Promoted to lead cross-functional efforts for new products.ENTERPRISE IMPACT:
• Coordinated the release of Vocollect’s "Talkman Open” product across all company functions.
• Led implementation of stage-gate at Vocollect.
• Researched and defined the market requirements for the Vocollect T2 wearable computer.

• Hired as a firmware engineer who can successfully port operating systems onto untested computer hardware. Became Vocollect’s first product manager.ENTERPRISE IMPACT:
• Led the engineering team that successfully designed and built Vocollect’s "Gemini" voice appliance on schedule.
• Assumed project leadership to complete a next generation product (Talkman Open), including efforts to redefine the product for better ease of use.

VoiceLinks Medical focused on operating room productivity, data collection, and communication tools. Operated a year on seed funding from a pool of angels. Did not pursue next round funding.

Consultant to Verbex Voice Systems, a company implementing voice interfaces to computer systems and introducing this new technology into industrial companies. Operated help desk.

Instituted a product planning process for Vocollect that for the first time focused on opportunities/problems separate from specific implementation details. Created and managed the company's Systems Integration unit. Unit generated revenues over $500k in the first year of operation.
