Health Information Technology Project Manager – Epic Team
CurrentCurrently supporting a $114 million dollar initiative to deploy the Epic Enterprise integrated healthcare information system. Responsible for the migration of core interface engine functionality from OpenLINK (Siemens) to Ensemble (InterSystems). Migration scope includes over 350 interfaces across 60 disparate systems and integration with the Epic Bridges subsystem.Coordinating all Legacy data conversion and archival activities from over 15 source systems (Soarian, NextGen, AllScipts, Invision, EAD, etc.) into the Epic data structure.Migrating all Master Patient Index (MPI) source files from disparate systems into the Epic Identity module.Managing the deployment of a new document management system (OnBase from Hyland Software), retirement of the legacy system (Siemens) and conversion of more than 34 million documents to the new platform.Deploying new vitals monitoring systems ( Infinity from Draeger) to a large metropolitan hospital campus. Effectively mange cross functional teams in the areas of Electronic Data Interchange, Business Continuity, Security, and , Configuration Management and Go-Live / Launch Coordination.Assisted in contract negotiation for and acquisition of multi-million dollar systems supporting Document Management, Middleware and other Third Party solutions. Work closely with all clinical and non-clinical teams in the areas of requirements definition, solution design and project planning. Regularly meet with Executive Management regarding Program Management status and coordination. Attending various training programs at Epic headquarters in Madison, WI.
