My passion today is to leverage my business development, online marketing, operations and technology skills to help businesses grow and excel. My previous experience of successfully launching a software startup, building a successful SaaS business, negotiating and managing a profitable acquisition, then continuing as a senior manager in a public company has provided me with valuable insight on what actions companies need to take to be successful.In fact, I've been coaching businesses on using technology since the very start of my career. My first job after college was teaching life insurance carriers and agencies the benefits of using a comprehensive CRM system for managing their practice.At Captiva Software we developed a full featured CRM and commission accounting solution for group benefits insurance agencies. I was on the road, on webinars or the phone daily coaching our clients and prospects on how to improve their businesses with the proper application of technology.Recently, I've applied that experience to our own small real estate practice. After leaving A.D.A.M. Inc., I moved with my family to Sanibel Island, where Susan, my wife, started as a Realtor selling residential island properties. From having no network or pipeline and in a tough market, we grew her business to be one of our market's top selling agents by her 3rd year. She continues to be one of the top producers in our market and we are growing our team.I am looking for select opportunities to apply these techniques to other markets or businesses.
