I am a builder. I've spent the majority of my career working in SaaS startups. I am currently the Vice President of Global Sales for Intezer and working with some of the brightest and kindest people I have ever worked with. It wasn't long ago that I was burnt out and ready to give up on my sales career. In 2019 I lost the VP of Sales and Customer Success role that I had put countless hours into for three years prior. My team helped grow revenue from less than 1 to 16 million ARR in 2.5 years, but the long hours and constant pressure took a toll on my health. After taking some time off and reflecting on what happened, I realized that it wasn't working in sales that burnt me out; it was how I lived my life. I was ready to get back in the game, but I knew I needed to make significant changes if I was going to be successful moving forward. I decided it was time to get serious about prioritizing my physical and mental health over everything. I returned to the role I had lost seven months prior and helped the company get acquired a year and a half later. I am still a work in progress, but I am happier than ever working in sales.
