His civic leadership has been acknowledged through the years, including Citizen of the Year and Building Community Excellence awards.Interwoven throughout his career, McCoy’s passion for the development of men has been demonstrated by his facilitation and teaching of classes, teams and groups over the past three decades.McCoy holds a degree in Human Resource Management from Trinity University. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, McCoy has called Miami home for the last 40 years.Out of all the roles McCoy holds, father is his favorite. He has two children: James and Kelly.
