Welcome to my profile, and feel free to connect with me.As a Partner at Foley & Lardner, I specialize in the representation of health care organizations, health care professionals, and private equity firms with commercial transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, equity and debt financing, joint ventures, and start-ups. I also assist with business planning and government relations. In addition, I advocate for health care providers undergoing government investigations by the Office of Inspector General, State Medicaid Fraud Control Units, and other government agencies.I work in multiple states throughout the west and desert southwest, and my clients include health systems and numerous health care providers, including hospitals, assisted living facilities, community health centers, imaging centers, laboratories, physician group practices, and other health care providers.I serve as associate general counsel to the Colorado Health Care Association, and general counsel to the Community Health Association of Mountain and Plains States, Colorado Community Health Network, and other health care provider trade associations. I am a member of the American Health Lawyers Association Fraud & Abuse and Regulation, Accreditation and Payment Practice Groups, as well as the Hospitals & Health Systems Practice Group, Physician Organizations Practice Group, and Long Term Care, Senior Housing, In-Home Care, and Rehabilitation Practice Group, of which I served as the Vice Chair from 2004 to 2007. I served on the Tulane Alumni Admissions Committee as the Colorado Chairperson from 1996 to 1997.
