Following my education, I joined the United States Air Force. There, I served as a military police officer (Security Forces) responsible for protecting our nations nuclear ICBM assets. This was a highly intense experience that taught me the power of detail oriented, task specific planning. I worked for several places following my tour of duty in the Air Force. This included time as: a car salesman at a Chevrolet Dealership, commercial flooring salesman and technical representative for Forbo Flooring, General Manager of a Jiffy Lube location in Colorado, and a video investigator for the Denver Transit Police Department. During this time I gained incredible amounts of wide ranging experience. I have lead groups of people with varied backgrounds and skill sets and managed mufti-million dollar inventories. I gained an understanding for different styles of leadership and management, for the way these styles need to be bent and formed to each group that you are leading. This experience cannot be over stated.I have served since January, 2011 as a Psychological Operations Specialist in the US Army. I have been responsible for the training, leadership, and management of 30+ soldiers in both stateside operations, as well as combat maneuvers over seas. PSYOP teams operate separately from our unit chain of command and are often separated by several hundreds of miles. Team leaders must make decisions quickly, accurately and with confidence as PSYOP actions can have a vast effect on many areas of operation. We are responsible for the planning and execution of high level campaigns that cover entire provinces and beyond.Following my tour of duty in Afghanistan, I began working as the Site Security Manager for AVAYA in Westminster, CO.
