As Vice President, Information Security at Kohler, I have broad functional responsibilityacross the full continuum for information security strategy and architecture. This includes defining the current information and operations technology security strategy, communicating and collaborating across all lines of business and implementing appropriate controls and countermeasures. The Vice President – Information Security is the chief information security officer for Invensys plc. This role provides the enterprise with information security strategy, policy, standards, risk assessments, management processes and technology to ensure that Invensys information assets are adequately protected with acceptable levels of controls. These controls enable the businesses to operate efficiently, cost-effectively and in compliance with regulatory and industry practices. The Vice President’s role is to plan, organize, develop, and provide oversight and alignment of security systems, disaster recovery plans and IT resiliency across all Invensys sites, for the enterprise as it extends to suppliers and customers and for all Invensys employees. This includes establishing and implementing governance, best practice methodologies and tools relevant to IT Security. The Vice President will provide regular reviews to executive management and timely updates on project initiatives.

Focus on strategic direction and architecture for the security of data and systems for Perot Systems and our clients. Public facing role includes public speaking, publishing, interfacing with client executives and industry analysts.

Supervise strategic and tactical information security operations and engineering groups to include, Security engineering and incident response, Security Operations Center, Antivirus Incident Response Team, Digital Forensics Group, Security administration Teams, Global Security assets.

Served in the United States Army as both an enlisted member and a commissioned officer. As an officer I was deployed to Desert Storm as an M1A1 Heavy Tank Platoon Leader. Upon return, served as Company Executive Officer, Brigade Logistics Officer, and Commanded a company of over 400 soldiers.
