I’m a professional cricketer from Burnley, and I made my Lancashire debut in 2000. I thenmade my England debut in May 2003 and have gone on to make over 170 Test appearances for my country, becoming England’s all time highest wicket taker and theall-time fast bowling wicket taker in test cricket.Since 2017, I have also been one of the co-presenters of the weekly BBC podcast‘Tailenders’, being awarded ‘Gold’ for best live episode at the 2020 British Podcast awards. I am also one of founders of CricketAllrounder a new app designed to increase participation in cricket by setting young people challenges and games toplay on their own, with their friends or other users of the app. We aim to improve young persons health and wellbeing through playing cricket and connect the cricketing world through the app.
