Co-leading ACT Team members who provide services in an outpatient psychiatric clinical setting when serving individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, including services provided in the community and in the clinic, via serving in the following capacities: •Managing the ACT Team referrals and caseloads•Provision of treatment and crisis services, and documentation of client progress •Providing on-the-job training in an organized manner presenting information clearly and concisely•Analyzing clinical needs and social situations, identifying problems and alternative courses of action, and directing the ACT Team towards outcomes

•Providing individual counseling to the adult population living with Major Depression, Bipolar Disorders, Schizophrenia, and other mental health struggles to maximize their recovery and resiliency and well as reach their individualized, person-centered recovery goal(s)•Conducting mental health intake assessments for the adult population living with Major Depression, Bipolar Disorders, Schizophrenia, and other mental health struggles as well as, if they are eligible and meet criteria, explain to and get them enrolled in mutually agreed upon services which they feel like would help them reach their individualized, person-centered recovery goal(s)•Providing case management to the adult population living with Major Depression, Bipolar Disorders, Schizophrenia, and other mental health struggles to make sure they are being offered everything we can to aide them in being able to maximize their recovery and resiliency and well as reach their individualized, person-centered recovery goal(s) for all level of cares•Providing mentoring and modeling for newly hired LPHA's in regards to documentation, clinic procedures, and providing quality care that matches the needs of each individual we engage•Assisting Clinic Director with organization, training, and helping clinic operations to run smooth

Grief Share is a group which includes a psycho-educational as well as processing component for those who have lost a loved one to death. Grief Share has a 13 week curriculum which guides the group topics and aides and encourages in helping group members to process and work through their grief.

•Providing individual, couples, and family counseling•Conducting mental health intake assessments (office and community)•Ensuring the clinical treatment program is effectively administered and meets regulatory standards•Supervising clinical staff and managing clinician caseloads to comply with licensure standards•Encouraging staff clinically through psycho-education on topics that interest them both professionally with their clients as well as personally to enrich them and combat burn-out to help recharge and refresh them and fight clinical fatigue•Ensuring staff documentation meets the criteria for appropriate level of care according to clinical funding•ANSA/CANS Super User (developing and implementing agency wide training bi-annually for this needs-strengths based assessment)•Providing ongoing leadership and support to all members of the clinical team•Supervising and providing professional training to practicum students, interns, and agency employees individually as well as in staff meetings•Updating documentation with current procedure and billing codes as well as aiding in keeping staff current on those changes•Reviewing and approving requests for medical records•Supervising and managing the clinic's schedule (including CSR's, therapists, and medical staff schedules)•Working with and supporting other programs in the agency through ensuring their care coordinator's clients are connected with a therapists and/or skills trainer when requested by a program manager or the care coordinators themselves in a timely fashion•Aiding the mental health director in any way that they need

I have been a co-facilitator and am now the facilitator of the cancer support group at Vansickle Baptist Church. This group is made up of people affected by cancer whether that be themselves, a spouse, a family member, and/or a friend. This group is a psycho-educational/processing group. We cover topics such as stress, the importance of sleep and diet, normalizing the effects of cancer and cancer treatment on the body, new cancer research, and exercise as well as processing and support for those who themselves or whose loved ones have or have had cancer. We help people to know they are not alone.
