With over 20 years of experience in IT and MPP database solutions, I am a highly technical, results-driven team lead. In 2019, I relocated to Melbourne to reboot the ANZ data business, achieving significant year-on-year growth. Before this, I successfully built the Greenplum database business from the ground up in Taiwan and Hong Kong.As a skilled Data pre-sales Engineer, I excel in pre-sales activities, partner enablement, and management, with expertise in database, ETL, BI/AI, and end-to-end Enterprise Data Warehouse/Lake architecture. I lead a high-performing team of data experts, solving complex customer challenges, and specialise in architecture design and solution selling for Greenplum Database, Gemfire, Postgres, and RabbitMQ.Key accomplishments:• Successfully expanded VMware's data business in Australia by nearly 200% year-over-year for 3 consecutive years starting in 2021.• Rebuilt and recruited a local data pre-sales team and post-sales team in Australia, establishing them from the ground, beginning in 2021.• Consistently accelerated the development of key accounts in Australia, elevating them to tier-1 status in 2022.• Pioneered and scaled the Greenplum database business in Taiwan and Hong Kong from ground up, transforming it into an effective operation in 2010.
