As our company continues to grow, my job focus has been on our ERP of Prophet 21 as both as an analyst for change and as support for operational ERP. I oversee the planning and deployment of emerging technology for creating value in the company. I also establish policies, training, and standards for current and new employees to improve the use of technology and improve interaction among employees and customers.

In August 2017, I was promoted to General Manager and transitioned to the corporate office in Little Rock, AR. My duties include day to day oversight of operations of all R&E Supply locations. I work with the branch managers and continue to develop programs that will help customers recognize R&E Supply as a top wholesaler in the HVACR market. I also continue to be involved in the software development, reporting, and the overall drive in technology to keep the business on pace for the 21st century.

In April 2006, R&E Supply purchased Epicor’s sales software called Prophet21. There was not a dedicated IT person working for R&E, so I was called upon to help drive the product in a way to suit our business operations. Over the next few years, I became more proficient in SQL, the programming language used by Epicor. I was responsible for developing reports and form customizations for Prophet21 as well. I worked with all levels of employees and developed training programs to assist users in different areas of P21. My responsibilities as branch manager continued and I helped develop new sales leads and sales procedures to streamline our customer service and day to day tasks. In 2013, I oversaw the Searcy location’s move into a new 13,000 square foot warehouse that allowed increased productivity in inventory control, shipping, and sales.

I moved to the Searcy, AR branch as branch manager. My duties included day to day operations for the Searcy location, as well as some purchasing which was not done by corporate. I helped institute regional deliveries for our sales staff and promote the Searcy location to the area HVACR customers.

Inside sales became my primary focus but I was also responsible for about 40 percent of purchasing for the Pine Bluff location. I continued contact with the outside sale customers and followed up with the delivery persons to be assured that customers were being serviced accordingly.

I moved into outside sales in Pine Bluff while maintaining inside sales responsibilities as well. I organized and improved delivery routes across southeast Arkansas. There were three weekly delivery routes that covered the southeast quarter of the state. I was responsible for order placement and product delivery to a wide source of commercial and HVACR accounts.

I started working at R&E Supply at the Pine Bluff, AR branch in December 1984. My initial responsibilities were warehouse and delivery. I shipped and received inventory and routed local deliveries to the customers.
