I love teaching Mathematics and have done so for over 25 years in a range of settings, both domestically and internationally; selective entry high schools and private schools; single sex and co-educational.The positive impact and influence of educating young minds continues to fuel my passion for teaching. To teach mathematics is to inspire and to challenge; to connect the future with the present. Learning and understanding mathematics mimics life; it is confronting and humbling and replete with missteps, however, when grappled with and understood, the learning is uniquely gratifying and generates self-confidence that is tangible for years to come.Having recently transitioned formally from the classroom setting, I am a proud co-founder and co-director of an educational business - Game Plan Coaching. Our vision is to support the academic and wellbeing needs of students through their educational journey. At Game Plan Coaching, we love connecting students and families with great teachers, coaches and role models, as the impact of external adults into young lives can have a profoundly positive impact. We are passionate about instilling lifelong learning behaviours that will empower students to achieve their academic goals. In conjunction with our academic focus, we guide students to manage their wellbeing as they navigate life’s challenges during their school years and beyond.
